A message from Gabe for 100 episodes of The Dinner Special podcast.

One Hundred Thank-Yous

Welcome to The Dinner Special, I am Gabriel Soh and because we’ve just hit our 100th episode, I want to take a bit of time to say some thank yous and share with you what’s next with The Dinner Special podcast.

100 episodes!! I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I uploaded the first few interviews onto iTunes, and now we’re already at 100!

Looking back, it was around this time last year, I was reaching out to my first food hero guests, doing my first few interviews and YouTubing a ton on how to record and put together a podcast. I had no clue what I was doing, and I guess to some extent, I’m still very much new to things, and trying to figure things out.

I feel so lucky though to have been embraced by such a welcoming community. Everyone I reached out to over the past year, whether they’ve been on the show or not, have been so generous and totally encouraging. Thank you.

To you, the listener, thank you for taking time out of your schedule to include me into your world. I didn’t really have a plan, I just knew that I wanted to inspire busy home cooks, as brand new parents ourselves at the time, to try new things in the kitchen, and be that voice, a friend that introduces some really talented people and the food they love to cook, to you.

I hope that, I have, in some measure, accomplished this over the past 100 shows.

Moving forward, I’m so excited about what’s to come in the New Year and to follow along with my food hero guests as I’m sure they have some incredible plans for 2016. Of course The Dinner Special podcast will continue, but, because I’m also now working on another project, more details to come soon, I will be scaling back to just one episode per week.

So, new episodes starting next week will only be up on Wednesdays.

I do want to apologize for going from three episodes each week for the first 50 interviews, to two per week, and now just the one episode on Wednesdays. But I really do hope you’ll continue along on this journey with me! I have some amazing guests lined up for you, who, as always, have delicious food and inspiring stories to share.

Just a reminder, if you’re not yet subscribed to the podcast and want to catch every episode, you can subscribe on iTunes. It’s totally free! If you are subscribed, or are a regular listener who enjoys the show, I’d be so grateful if you’d rate and review The Dinner Special podcast on iTunes, and share the podcast with your friends and anyone you think who’d enjoy it.

I’ve not figured out exactly how to keep you posted on my upcoming project, but thedinnerspecial.com, Facebook and Instagram would be a good bet.

Thank you for your support over the past 10 months and for continuing to be so encouraging. It really does mean a great deal.

Now, I want to quickly thank all the wonderful guests who have so kindly helped The Dinner Special reach 100! And yes, I am really going to thank everyone individually!

List of all 100 guests!!

I’m so humbled that all these incredibly talented people took their time over this past 10 months to chat with me, and I’m equally grateful to you, for listening. I’ve had so much fun, been super inspired, and learned a ton, and I hope you have too! Thank you.

A new episode is up on Wednesday. I hope you’ll continue to tune in!

I’m Gabriel Soh! Over and out!
